[755] Mr. Olofsson was a man of many qualities: first he was a teacher for noblemen's children, then a clerk for the lawyer Valdenstam. He was a parish clerk in the parish of Ny, living at Nysund, where his son Petter was born. For 4 years he was a Marshal and finally ended up as a BERGSGEVALDIGER for 11 years. In the church books it is said that he can read,write and count, which was rare during those days. His son Petter took the name Nystrom after Ny and Nysund.

[1016] '1777 april 27 Jan Pehrsson Tysk in Västerhiske died born
[1017] 1699 in Bygdeå, been a soldier for 15 years and for some
[1018] years a corporal.
[1019] Attended the finnish campaign and marched to Fahlen.
[1020] Was dismissed in 1746,had bought himself a homestead in
[1021] Västerhiske, married to Britta Nilsdotter.
[1022] Had togheter with her 4 children , 3 sons and 1 daughter.
[1023] Has been in good health except for this past year when he has
[1024] been tied to his bed, died from ageweakness, aged 71.
